SOCIAL CARE MISSIONARY SAFARI (8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS)
This safari is ideal for missionaries who have a tight schedule but want to touch the hearts of orphaned children who don’t have the luxury of staying with their parents. The missionary tour involves volunteering in a children home for three days followed by sampling of Kenya’s natural and cultural heritage. Volunteering /missionary activities include teaching, painting, cooking, cleaning, playing amongst others.   The missionary tour is suitable for church groups, family groups, school groups, friends groups and professional groups i.e teachers.

Day 1: Nairobi
Arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport, met and greeted in our traditional style by our representatives, transfer to your city hotel. An hour after checking, we take you on a city orientation tour that takes you through the Central Business District viewing the shopping areas, parliament buildings, Conference Centre ( KICC) and the Railway station and many of Nairobi's modern and historical buildings. Balance of the day is spent at leisure at your hotel. Dinner on own in your hotel. Overnight at Hotel, Nairobi Safari Club, Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2- 4: Missionary Work at a Children’s Home
After a hearty breakfast, depart for the children home where you will be welcomed by the home management. After orientation you will start your missionary work and for three you will interact with the orphaned children in different activities, such as teaching, painting, painting, feeding, playing, and cooking amongst other activities.  In the evening, you will return to the hotel for overnight stay.   Overnight at Hotel, Nairobi Safari Club, Bed & Breakfast.  

NB: The missionaries interested in this missionary tour will agree with us on the activities they are interested in undertaking at the orphanage and a realistic budget will be worked together to cater for the activities they want to support the orphanage with.           

Day 5: Nakuru National Park
After three days missionary work at the children’s home you are now ready to undertake a four days safari sampling kenya’s natural and cultural heritage. The trip will take you to Nakuru National Park and the famous Maasai Mara national Reserve.

You safari starts with an early breakfast and later  a drive to Nakuru National Park which is a home to millions of pink/ lesser and greater flamingos. On checking in at the Lake Nakuru  Flamingo Lodge, relax as you wait for lunch which is a few minutes away. After lunch undertake a game drive  in the pink lake in search of flamingoes, black rhinos, giraffes, lion and the leopard till late in the evening when you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Lodge,  Lake Nakuru Flamingo Lodge, Full Board.  

Day 06 - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Meals and overnight at Mara Springs Camp. Full Board

 Day 07 - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Early breakfast is followed by an exciting full morning's game-viewing drive including a visit to Mara River to view the hippos. Early morning optional balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast. Whole day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Mara Springs Camp. Full Board

 Day 08 - Back to Nairobi, Departure
After breakfast drive to Nairobi, Kenya's colourful capital city. Lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Carnivore Barbecue Experience is also described as 'Meat Eaters Paradise' and is the Africa's Greatest Eating Experience! After lunch, transfer to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your onward arrangements. African Authentic safaris’ representative will re-confirm your onward flight, and assist you at check-in.
